The Murakami capillary film MS is intended for creating excellent stencils with very simple coating techniques before preparing the screen.

An excellent substitute for liquid emulsion, which will allow you to develop fine details at the highest resolutions with ease.

Capillary film of 25 microns and 50 microns thickness in 30×40 cm sheets is in stock.

All other thicknesses (from 12 to 100 microns) and thick layer capillary films (thick film from 100 to 1000 microns) are available upon prior order. Available in two dimensions, either rolled on a 0.64×10 m roll or in 30×40 cm sheets.

CAPILLARY FILM CAN BE APPLIED IN TWO WAYS:

APPLICATION METHOD WITH LIQUID EMULSION:
1. remove the protective film from the capillary film
2. place the film with the bare side up on a flat table
3. place the screen over the film so that the mesh touches the film
4. pour a little liquid emulsion on the screen above the film 1POT SOL C2 or Screencoat WHDevenly pull the squeegee twice over the film.
5. dry the screen in a warm chamber (up to 40°C) in a horizontal position
6. such prepared screens can wait for several months in a dark room.

APPLICATION METHOD WITH WATER:
1. remove the protective film from the capillary film
2. wet the screen with water
3. place the capillary film on the screen with the side from which you removed the protective film (the side of the screen that will be in contact with the print)
4. pull the squeegee evenly on both sides of the screen to remove excess water
5. dry the screen in a warm chamber (up to 40°C) in a horizontal position
6. such prepared screens can wait for several months in a dark room.

EXPOSURE TIMES

Important: These times are reference values for exposing white mesh with a 5000-watt halogen light placed 130 cm from the table. They can assist in exposure but depend on many factors (mesh color, thread density, distance and intensity of light source, etc.).
