AVANTEX GRAY BASE FOR POLYESTER 178

AVANTEX BLOCKER GREY 178

Gray base – blocker grey prevents sublimation on 100% polyester or polyester blends.

It excellently blocks the penetration of the polyester material’s base, thus not altering the shade of the printed color. The base is gray in color and suitable for printing directly from the original packaging.

The polyester blocker base for polyester does not contain phthalates and is environmentally and user-friendly.

Printing on screens with a mesh count from 34 to 43 threads per cm, without changing the viscosity. On the blocker gray base, you can print most standard plastisol white colors to achieve exceptional whiteness. To get maximum coverage and minimal sublimation, use a softer squeegee or a thicker emulsion coating. On products that exhibit stronger sublimation, you can print multiple layers of the gray base.

WARNING: Colored polyesters vary greatly, so all materials, including those mentioned above, must be tested before serial printing.

White plastisol underlay color

Avantex WHITE SUPERFLASH is a plastisol color(requires drying at a higher temperature and does not dry in air), suitable as an underlay or as a standalone color for direct screen printing or transfer printing.

Avantex Superflash White has a special matte finish with a touch of silky appearance, adding a special stamp in the fashion industry.

Avantex products comply with current European regulations (do not contain phthalates, lead…).

FEATURES:

– exceptional coverage

– fast drying under intermediate IR dryers

– mixing system compatible with PANTONE colors

– suitable for direct screen printing on textiles or transfer printing.

Fixation – polymerization of plastisol colors for printing on cotton:

Plastisol colors need to be dried or fixed (cured) on textiles at a temperature of 150 degrees Celsius for at least 3 minutes. In this way, the color will be wash-resistant on cotton and cotton blends. For printing with plastisol colors, you need a bit more equipment – a drying tunnel. For more sensitive materials, you can reduce the temperature to 140-150 degrees, but you must not reduce the drying time.

AVANTEX FLUO plastisol ink for direct screen printing on textiles (T-shirts, cotton bags, etc.). The ink is transparent.

Plastisol inks need to be thermally fixed at higher temperatures. It is recommended to fix – polymerize in a drying tunnel at 150-160°C for 2 minutes. If a glossy effect of the printed ink is desired, a thicker application of the ink and fixing above 160°C is required.

Excellent coverage and durability are achieved with Fluo Avantex plastisol inks when screen printing on light fabrics. FLUO plastisol inks can be used for cotton fabrics, jersey, plush, and more demanding fabrics such as denim, canvas, synthetic blends, suede, technical fabrics, etc.

Composition: Plastisol ink is Oekotex compliant and does not contain phthalates.

Avantex plastisol ink is compatible and can be used for direct screen printing on textiles or making transfers.

Characteristics:

– high coverage

– innovative matte effect

– prints nicely – just the right viscosity for printing.

Preparation of ink for use: The ink is already prepared for printing, so you simply take it from the container and print. The ink is single-component. For printing on dark materials, we recommend printing a white underlay to achieve the final effect of fluorescence.

Additives for the Avantex line of colors:

–VD01 for raster printing (max 2-5%)
– FAST 130 – for flash drying (max 5%)
– WW for wet-on-wet (max 5-10%)
– 804 thinner – additive for transfer printing
– 60 FLEX to increase elasticity (max 10-15%)

It is recommended to use a mesh of 43 – 140 threads/cm.

For screen preparation for printing with plastisol inks, we recommend using the universal emulsion Screencoat WHD.

WARNINGS:

Always test the durability on a test piece before serial printing. Read and follow the safety instructions!

PROCESS PLASTISOL INKS AVANTEX TR 13

Transparent PROCESS plastisol inks Avantex TR 13 for direct screen printing and transfer printing of color reproductions on textiles.

The Avantex TR 13 series of plastisol inks includes four process colors and is made from CMYK pigments (cyan, magenta, yellow, black). Process plastisol inks are specially developed with numerous and specific laboratory tests to create true, chromatically correct, and reliable complex images and photographs. Thanks to these specific properties, it is possible to print perfect reproductions if used together with standard color separations made with well-known and widely-used programs like Adobe Photoshop, etc.

Composition: Plastisol ink based on PVC without phthalates.

Used for: direct screen printing on textiles and transfer printing.

Features:

– the color is not opaque

– innovative matte effect

– prints beautifully – just the right viscosity for printing.

– zero moiré effect (optical pattern that occurs with incorrect screen rotation)

Recommended sequence for direct screen printing on white/light textiles is as follows:

1. Avantex TR 13 CYAN

2. Avantex TR 13 MAGENTA

3. Avantex TR 13 YELLOW

4. Avantex TR 13 BLACK

Note that Avantex TR 13 colors are highly pigmented. For best results in direct screen printing on light cotton, it is recommended to mix all shades of process colors with the special Avantex TR 13 OPAQUE BASE. The ratio should be:

1000 g Avantex TR 13 PROCESS (CMYB)

500 g Avantex TR 13 OPAQUE BASE

For direct screen printing with process colors on dark textiles, best results are achieved by drying individual layers in between. The sequence should be as follows:

1. print white underbase plastisol color + drying

2. print white underbase plastisol color + drying

3. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS CYAN + drying

4. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS MAGENTA + drying

5. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS YELLOW + drying

6. Avantex TR 13 PROCESS BLACK + drying

Preparation for use: Simply take the color from the container and print. The color is single-component.

Recommended mesh for process colors: 120.31 – 140.27

Drying:

3-4 minutes, 150-160 degrees Celsius.

Additives:

–
VD01for elasticity and fluidity of the paint (max 2-5%)

–FAST 130for flash drying, increases drying speed under IR heaters (max 5%)

–WWfor wet-on-wet, reduces the effect of ink buildup under the screen (max 5-10%)

WARNINGS:

Always test durability on a close piece before serial printing.

Read and follow the safety instructions!
